Dr. Monica Perry,
Associate Professor, University of Redlands
Dr. Perry is an Associate Professor of Marketing at University of Redlands and regularly teaches marketing principles, marketing strategy and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) courses. She has successfully taught the principles and strategies of Internet Marketing and CRM to undergraduates, graduates and executives at a number of universities, including the Peter Drucker School of Management in Claremont, California.
Dr. Perry has a Ph.D. in marketing with a minor in information systems and logistics and focuses her research in a number of areas where marketing and technology intersect. Current research projects involve: online customer service and multi-channel firms, Internet direct marketing, Internet services strategy development by advertising agencies, and Internet alliances between competitors.
Her work on Internet marketing and high tech marketing has been published in:

- Industrial Marketing Management,
- the Journal of Business Research (in press 2003).
She also has published on relationship marketing topics in:

Dr. Perry has consulted to small and medium sized businesses and non-profits on Internet marketing and marketing strategy. She is currently a principal in CLP, Associates, LLC which is a commercial organic farming and consulting business.
For several years, Dr. Perry worked in business-to-business marketing for Nortel Networks. Her responsibilities included negotiating customer contracts, pricing and competitive analysis for multi-million dollar proposals, market forecasting, and new product line strategic plans.
Mick Gallagher,
CEO Life Science Technologies
Mick has a significant background in the Life Science arena. As CEO of Life Science Technologies, Mick has spent time in numerous engagements, consulting to Life Science firms to improve their business processes from Proteinomics, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, and Clinical (21CFR part 11) compliance. Prior to becoming CEO of Life Science Technologies, Mick helped pioneer the Vertical Life Science Market for Oracle Corporation, as one of the five strategic people to launch “Oracles Life Science Initiative.”
Additionally, Mick spent over 22 years working with Japanese companies, as Vice President of International for Toshiba Corporation, Mick had P&L responsibility for 27 international countries. In that timeframe he was responsible for the implementation of Global Business Practices.
William Hitchcock,
CEO/CFO Bottom Line Financial, LLC
William Hitchcock is the CEO/CFO of Bottom Line Financial, LLC. Since 1985, he has managed a busy tax practice for 500 clients, including corporations (S corps and LLCs), partnerships, trusts, and individuals. The practice deals with Federal and State income tax preparation, audit defense, collection matters, and State Employment and Sales Tax Agencies.
Prior to leading Bottom Line Financial, Mr. Hitchcock had built and sold a taxation practice of 800 clients. Preceding this practice, William Hitchcock served as Vice President and CFO for PRCC Aerospace Corp. in Corona del Mar, California. He has a competitive, compassionate nature, and does not shrink from challenges that arise in most growing businesses.
He currently serves on three corporate Boards of Directors and actively advises corporate and business clients on strategic planning and tax implications. He is a member of NAEA, CSEA, and OCEA Societies of Enrolled Agents and has been published in numerous journals on the subject of Taxation.
William Hitchcock completed his B.A. at Claremont Men’s College in Claremont, California. He also holds a LL.M in Taxation and International Finance from New York University, Graduate Division, and a J.D. degree from University of California, Davis. He is socially fluent in French and Arabic languages. Mr. Hitchcock currently resides in Irvine, California.
Jill Griffin,
President, Griffin Group
Jill Griffin is an internationally recognized expert on customer loyalty. Her groundbreaking book, Customer Loyalty: How To Earn It, How To Keep It, gained business best-seller status in 1997. She was among the first to point out that even customers who are satisfied will readily switch suppliers for greater convenience or lower costs. Jill also suggests that companies must do more to merely satisfy customers – they must engender loyalty.
Now available in second edition, Customer Loyalty is a Harvard Business School “Working Knowledge” recommended book. Ms. Griffin is co-author of Customer Winback, deemed one the “30 Best Business Books of 2002” by Soundview Executive Book Summaries.
Since 1988, Ms. Griffin has served as president of Griffin Group, a customer loyalty research and consulting firm headquartered in Austin Texas. Clients served include Dell, Aramark, Southern Company, American Public Power Association, Ford, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Marriott, Days Inn, Western Union, and Scotland’s Department of Tourism.
Ms. Griffin sits on the Board of Directors for Luby’s Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange company with 135 restaurant locations across the Southwest. She serves on the Advisory Council for Mirabel Medical, developer of the world’s first electrical impedance-based system for early detection of cancer in women under the age of 40. In her early career, Ms. Griffin served as senior brand manager for RJR/Nabisco’s largest brand and as National Director of Marketing and Sales for AmeriSuites Hotels.
Ms. Griffin is a frequent guest lecturer and former faculty member at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, where her two books have been adopted as textbooks for the MBA and undergraduate courses on customer management.
She is the recipient of the 2003 Distinguished Alumna Award from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business from which she holds MBA and Bachelor of Science degrees, Magna Cum Laude.
